Cindy Sheets, Executive Director has served with Canyon Hope Ministries-FILL WITH HOPE since January of 2013. She and her husband Ernie have been married for 27 years and share 3 children and 3 sweet granddaughters—Sheridan Mae, Kollins Rene and Kaycee Rae, and one precious grandson, Kohen Jay-- who is in Heaven. She began at this ministry 13 years ago with 326 children in need of food assistance in 8 Elementary schools and no building to call home. Through faith in the Lord, FILL WITH HOPE currently serves over 1600 students in 23 school locations monthly, and packs HOPE TOTES each month in a warehouse-- she says was “built with love” by the community-- with 2 additional spaces created in 2017 & 2025 to accommodate growth. She gives the glory to God and the FILL WITH HOPE family & community for the amazing support and love that has sustained them. Her passion is to continue the mission to STOP HUNGER START LEARNING and provide HOPE to every single hungry child in need—and so grateful for the privilege to do so.

Social Media / Marketing Manager
Hello! My name is Georgia Heddin. I have worked for FILL WITH HOPE since April of 2025 as their Social Media / Marketing Manager. I graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in corporate communication, and have worked with a few other nonprofits and schools in the Canyon/Amarillo area in the last few years.
I have been married to my wonderful husband Tyler for almost 2 years, and we have a 1.5 year old pup named Maggie who is our world. I am a devout follower of Jesus Christ, and try my hardest to incorporate Him into all that I do every day.
I will say, I have never worked for a nonprofit quite like FILL WITH HOPE. The community involvement aspect I have seen just in the last year of being involved is amazing. I love the passion that every volunteer has when they walk through our doors to help stop hunger within the boundaries of CISD. I am so grateful to be a part of such an awesome organization, and look forward to serving in any way that I can in the future!

Board President 2026
“I’m honored to be serving my third year on the FILL WITH HOPE board and currently serve as Board President. My journey with the organization began several years ago through PTA, where I helped organize local school food drives and distributed Hope Totes weekly at Canyon Intermediate. As a stay-at-home mom of two daughters—Aubrey, a freshman at CHS, and Khloe, a 7th grader at CJHS—I’ve always been passionate about supporting students and families in our Canyon community. My husband Kory and I own Diamond K Fencing, and together we believe in giving back to the place we call home. Serving with FILL WITH HOPE allows me to be part of something meaningful, ensuring no child in our community goes hungry.”

Vice President 2026
Hi! My name is Stacia Hauser, and I have served as a member of the Board of Directors for FILL WITH HOPE for 3 years. I was introduced to FILL WITH HOPE 7 years ago through the Canyon Lions Club as we pack snacks bags on Monday evenings. Through this commitment, I wanted to learn and be more involved in the organization. Professionally, I served as an AVP Mortgage Loan Officer for Amarillo National Bank assisting people in achieving homeownership. I also served as the 24-25 President of the Canyon Lions Club. Canyon has outstanding volunteers, local businesses, and organizations that give back. Volunteering is something that is near and dear to my heart. I love being an instrumental part in taking care of our youth in need through FILL WITH HOPE.

Secretary 2026
Hi! My name is Rori Phillips, and I’m currently in my third year serving on the Board of Directors for FILL WITH HOPE. My journey with FWH began by volunteering to pack snack packs on Tuesday nights—an experience that quickly grew into a deep commitment to supporting and spreading the mission of the organization. Professionally, I serve as the Operations Manager for Alpha Polymers, a spray foam insulation company serving residential clients. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness from West Texas A&M University. I have a deep appreciation for the Canyon community and the way local businesses and organizations come together to give back. Being part of the FILL WITH HOPE board allows me to witness and contribute to that spirit of generosity firsthand—an experience I truly value.

Treasurer 2026
I began volunteering at FILL WITH HOPE during monthly Hope Tote packing nights over 11 years ago, and am humbled to say that I have had the opportunity to serve on our FILL WITH HOPE Board for nearly 3 years, now serving as our Treasurer. My favorite part of serving alongside our board is getting to see firsthand the collective impact made by our community of volunteers for the benefit of our kiddos. It certainly takes a lot of time and effort from great folks pulling in the same direction to make it all happen on packing nights, tote distribution teams, during food drives, on fund raising efforts, and of course all the planning behind the scenes. It is a privilege to be a part of such a special group of volunteers who continually put our kiddos before themselves. My beautiful wife, Morgan, and I have been married for 7 years, and we have a nearly 12-year- old puppy named Dos. Over the last two years, with the help of some awesome family, friends, and co-workers, Morgan and I have gotten the chance to lead a tote distribution team. As a Commercial Lender and FirstBank Southwest’s Canyon Market President, I am honored to serve Canyon as a Community Banker in my beloved hometown where I started my career as a part-time teller back in 2014 prior to graduating from West Texas A&M University. Simply put, children cannot be prepared to learn if they are hungry. Our mission is to Fill our kiddos With the Hope they need to learn and succeed in the classroom.
Board Members
Haley King
I first started volunteering in 2015, helping pack Hope Totes on Monday nights, and have had the privilege to serve on the FILL WITH HOPE board for the last two years! I’ve also been able to help coordinate annual Poptart drives, and serve our volunteers at the appreciation cookout held each spring! I think one of my favorite things about FILL WITH HOPE (aside from helping keep students fed, of course!) is seeing a community come together and work to fill a need. I am continually blown away by the generosity of folks and businesses in the area– with both their time, and monetary or food donations. I’m so proud to be a part of this organization and the mission we’re on to stop hunger for the students in our area!
Ian Ansett
I first met Cindy Sheets at the Canyon Lions Club, and was impressed by her commitment and character. It made me want to be a part of something that helps our community, especially the kids. I have currently worked for Grizzle Heating and Air for 3 years, and served on FILL WITH HOPE’s Board of Directors for 1 year, so far. Which in turn led to Grizzle helping out with FILL WITH HOPE too. FILL WITH HOPE is something that both I and the kids around me could have benefitted from growing up, so it was an easy “yes!” when Cindy asked me to join the board.
Kari Trice
This is my 2nd year of my 2nd term on the board, I previously served from 2020-2024, serving as President in 2023. And I am back on the board this year! I started handing out Hope Totes every Friday in 2013 to the students at Canyon Intermediate, I have followed my kids back and forth from Canyon Intermediate to Canyon Junior High, continuing to hand out Hope Totes every Friday at one of these schools. My husband and I have 4 kids, and we are lifelong residents of this community, both of us attended Canyon ISD schools as well! This organization is so near and dear to my heart, it’s just a part of me now! Seeing the faces of the kids every Friday makes everything we do behind the scenes worth every minute and every penny! I love that our community is so supportive of this organization, literally the bread and butter (or PopTarts and Pudding!). Without their support these children would possibly go hungry on the weekends. I’m thankful to all who support and volunteer to bring Hope to these kids!
Dylan Furman
My name is Dylan Furman. I met Cindy Sheets and started volunteering at FILL WITH HOPE in 2018 when I was a Freshman at Randall High School. I have been serving on the Board of Directors for FILL WITH HOPE for 2 years, and have been a part of this organization for 8 years now. I am a full-time student at WTAMU pursuing a degree in civil engineering. I also work full time for my family’s business, Furman Land Surveyors. In addition to going to school and working with my family’s businesses, I have my own lawn care and irrigation company, D.R. Lawncare. I enjoy working and staying busy. I am blessed to be a part of this organization and committed to do my part every month to help pack and deliver totes to the schools. I believe in this organization, its mission and will continue to support and help FILL WITH HOPE.
Caleb McLean
My name is Caleb McLean, and I serve as the Chief Financial Officer of Santa Fe Federal Credit Union in Amarillo, Texas. In 2023, several of our members introduced me to an organization I had not yet encountered—FILL WITH HOPE. After meeting with Cindy, I was deeply moved by her passion for supporting students in the Canyon school district. Inspired by her dedication, I began volunteering at FILL WITH HOPE’s monthly packing nights in February 2024. Each event has left me amazed by the outpouring of love and support from the community. Cindy and her team have impacted thousands of students and inspired countless others to discover the power of giving back through service. I am honored to be part of this mission and look forward to many more years of serving alongside this incredible group.
David Manley
David Manley is a local business owner in Amarillo, Texas and a corporate sponsor of
FILL WITH HOPE. After seeing the organization's impact in Canyon ISD, he was
inspired to support its mission of providing food to children in need over the weekend.
David believes no child should go hungry and is proud to support an organization
making a real difference in the lives of local students.
Diane Goddard
I was born and raised in Amarillo. I moved to Canyon in 1983. I am married to Tony Goddard. We have two children; AJ & Angel. We have 5 grandchildren; Rylan, Tripp, Linden, Kelby & Foxx. I have worked at Choice Media since 1995. My 'Happy Place' is the beach. We love going to Port Aransas with family. I was first enlightened about hungry kids in CISD several years ago and this organization has had by heart since. I love the mission of FILL WITH HOPE, and I love the opportunity to volunteer to help fill Hope Totes on a monthly basis! I look forward to serving on the board!
